San Francisco Hotel Monumento, is the only hotel located within a historic convent dating back 800 years in which its friars still live. The building (declared a Property of Cultural Interest), in the historic center of Santiago de Compostela, is just 150 meters from the cathedral. This privileged enclave in one of the most beautiful World Heritage Cities in the world, offering its guests the opportunity to live and enjoy one of the most renowned historical complexes of Santiago de Compostela.
HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE?
From the airport
From Lavacolla International Airport:
Santiago de Compostela International Airport is 15km from San Francisco Hotel Monumento, while the train and bus station is 1km away.
Upon leaving the airport take the A- 54 towards Santiago de Compostela, continue on this road for 7.5 km. Next, follow the signs to Santiago Norte, and continue straight on towards Avd. Xoán XXIII, at the end of which, leaving the Xoán XXIII public car park on the right and later the Church of San Francisco, the entrance to the hotel is just 10 m away.
BY CAR
From Pontevedra, Coruña, Vigo and Ourense via the AP9 Highway: Upon arriving in Santiago de Compostela, take exit 67. At the first roundabout, take the second exit towards "Centro Histórico". Continue along Calle de San Lázaro following the signs to "Centro Ciudad". At the fourth roundabout, turn left following the signs for Avd. Xoán XXIII, at the end of which and leaving the Xoán XXIII public car park on the right and then the Church of San Francisco, just 10m away. From Noia via the AG56 motorway: Upon reaching Santiago, join the AP9 towards A Coruña. The rest of the directions are the same as from Pontevedra, A Coruña, Vigo and Ourense.
